Please read these Terms carefully before using the platform operated by MV HUMHAINA Private Limited. By registering as a Lawyer, you agree to these legally binding Terms.

1. Nature of Service

• Technology platform connecting lawyers and clients.
• Supports calls, chat, documents, and appointments.
• Acts only as an intermediary.
• All legal responsibility lies with the Lawyer.

2. Eligibility and Registration

2.1 Lawyer Definition

• Valid law degree in India.
• Valid license to practice law.

2.2 Requirements

• Registered with Bar Council of India.
• Minimum age: 21 years.
• Professional indemnity insurance (if required).

2.3 Account Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information.
• Maintain account security.
• Responsible for all activity.

2.4 Lawyer Identification Code (LIC)

• Unique ID for all interactions.
• Used for compliance and tracking.
• Prevents solicitation (Bar Council rules).

2.5 Independent Status

You are an independent professional, not an employee of VakeelSaab.

3. Professional Conduct

Code of Conduct

• Follow Bar Council ethics.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Avoid conflicts of interest.
• No abusive language.

Client Anonymity

• Clients may remain anonymous.
• Do not request personal details.

Confidentiality

• Do not share personal contact details.
• Only LIC can be shared.

Prohibited Actions

• Off-platform payments
• Solicitation
• Fake reviews
• Multiple accounts
• Data harvesting

4. Service Usage

Initial Consultation

First consultation (10 minutes) is free.

Call Assignment Factors

• Ratings
• Experience
• Availability
• Performance metrics

Consultation Rules

• Be on time
• Stable internet required
• Recording needs consent

Communication

All communication must remain on-platform.

5. Client Engagement

• No solicitation allowed.
• Appointments must be booked via platform.

6. Appointment Scheduling

All meetings must be scheduled through the platform using LIC.

7. Document Upload

All legal documents must be uploaded on the platform.

8. Fees & Payments

Fees

• Lawyers set their own fees.
• Clients pay upfront.

Platform Share

• Platform retains 20%
• Lawyer receives 80%

Wallet

• Earnings stored in wallet.
• Withdraw to bank account.

Taxes

Lawyers are responsible for their taxes.

Refunds

• Missed calls → full refund
• Disputes handled case-by-case

9. Intellectual Property

• Platform owns its content.
• You retain ownership of your legal work.

10. Reviews

• Clients may leave reviews.
• No manipulation allowed.

11. Data Privacy

Follow all applicable data protection laws.

12. Platform Availability

No guarantee of uninterrupted service.

13. Limitation of Liability

VakeelSaab is not liable for legal outcomes, income loss, or disputes.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify the platform against claims arising from your services.

15. Suspension & Termination

• Violation → suspension
• Fraud → permanent removal

16. Compliance

Strict adherence to legal and ethical rules required.

17. Data Restrictions

No scraping or unauthorized data use.

18. Dispute Resolution

• First: internal resolution
• Then: arbitration in New Delhi

19. Modifications

Terms may change with 30 days notice.
